OgBae ("we", "us", "our") operates the ogbae.com email platform. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, country, timezone, and password hash when you create an account.

Billing information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We store transaction records (amount, credits purchased, invoice IDs).

Email metadata: When you send email through our platform, we store sender address, recipient addresses, subject lines, delivery status, and message IDs. Email content (body, attachments) is processed for delivery and not retained after delivery is complete.

Tracking data: When tracking is enabled, we collect open and click events including IP address, user agent, country (derived from IP), device type, and timestamp.

Log data: Server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, and user agents for security and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the email delivery service.
• To process billing and credit purchases.
• To provide email delivery logs and tracking analytics.
• To detect and prevent abuse (spam complaint rate monitoring).
• To send account-related notifications (low credit alerts, suspension warnings).
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Retention

Email logs are retained indefinitely for your reference. Tracking events (opens, clicks) are automatically deleted after 30 days by a background cleanup process.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with: Stripe for payment processing, and as required by law. Email content is transmitted to recipient mail servers as part of normal email delivery.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords and session tokens (SHA-256), and HMAC-signed webhook payloads. API keys are stored as hashed values.

7. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account information through the dashboard. For data export or deletion requests, contact us at privacy@ogbae.com.
